Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, write to us — we answer within one working day.

+How do you decide my child's level?

With a short placement assessment — about 20 minutes, more conversation than test. We check listening, speaking, reading and writing separately and place your child by the results, not by school year.

+What if my child is shy or has struggled with English at school?

That is most of the children who come to us. Small groups, no public correction and a teacher who knows the child are exactly what changes it. Many parents notice a difference in confidence before they notice a difference in marks.

+How big are the groups?

Six children maximum, usually four or five, grouped by level and age so no child is stranded.

+What happens if we miss a lesson?

Report the absence in the parent portal at least 24 hours ahead and you receive a make-up credit, which can be used in another group or a short private session.

+Do you follow the school curriculum?

We cover it and go past it. School material is supported directly — grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing — but the lesson is built around using English, not only passing it.

+Is there homework?

Yes, short and purposeful: about 10–15 minutes a week. It is posted in the portal with any files or links, so nothing is lost in a schoolbag.

+How do I know my child is progressing?

A summary after every lesson, homework marked in the portal, and a written progress report twice a term covering speaking, listening, reading and writing separately.

+Do you teach in English or Hebrew?

Lessons run in English, with Hebrew used where it saves five minutes of confusion. Younger and beginner groups hear more Hebrew; advanced groups hear almost none.

+Can we switch groups or formats later?

Yes. If a group turns out to be the wrong fit, we move your child — at no charge — as soon as a suitable place opens.

+How do payments work?

Monthly, by card, bank transfer or Bit. Invoices and receipts appear in the parent portal automatically, and a recurring plan can be paused or cancelled with 30 days' notice.

+Do you teach adults?

Our programs are built for kindergarten through 3rd grade. Older learners are taken privately when the schedule allows — ask us.

+What do you do with my family's data?

Only what is needed to run the lessons. See the privacy notice: no selling, no advertising networks, and files are stored in private storage.
